Snapchat is an application that is becoming very popular.  It helps to keep message secure by limiting the amount of time that messages and images are stored on mobile devices.  The information is never transmitted to any server and access policies govern who can view your messages and photos upon receipt.  There are many security advantages to this type of communication. The format makes it difficult for recipients to share, forward and spread messages. Any sensitive photos or texts have a better chance of not becoming a permanent artifact on the Internet.  With some serious development by the manufacture this could setve a form of communication within a corporate environment.
